We unconsciously agreed to look at life only through our window, without caring what is on the other side of that same window.
On the other side, is someone who's currently struggling with bipolar disorder, someone who has lost the parents or someone who has lost a child. Someone who has no roof over the head and someone who has, but does not feel the warmth of home. Someone who doesn't have the opportunity to see all the amazing colors of our beautiful nature, someone who doesn't have the possibility to hear all the wonderful sounds of guitars, violins, pianos, a bird's tweets, and the murmur of water. Someone who wishes for speaking aloud, but the voice betrays him, someone, who would give everything in this world to walk again or someone who never even felt the ground under the feet.
On the other side of the window are many who are feeling cold, hunger, who are having suicidal thoughts, because depression overwhelms them to the limits of ruthlessness. Those whose clothes lost the color from washing but they have no other to wear. Those whose illness takes joy, and reality doesn't even try to deny that fact. On the other side of the window are all of them.
They are not so far away, we just don't hear them because they have obeyed their infirmities, and pray in silence.
Think about all those people every day, and be thankful for what you have in life and, how could you improve it.
Life makes unexpected changes and quickly switches the roles. Let us become aware of ours, and realize that one side of someone's window, may become ours tomorrow.
