We can own things, and not be owned by things

Bo:)ana

I would go back to the girl from High school. I'll take myself as an example. I was a self-discovering rebel. My search for answers manifested itself through my appearance oftentimes. Frequent changes of hairstyles, styles of clothing, association with music and personal values tended towards persistent self-discovery. There were a lot of interrogative sentences, which start with, "Why".

Not much has changed. Spiritual and deep has always been important to me in order to seek the truth. I was weird to many people, that's for sure. I believe that I'm even now, but more through actions and decisions, than through appearance. Searching for ways to express myself led me to self-awareness and the realization that I don't have to identify with anything.

I can…

listen to rock or metal music without dressing like that.

not eat meat, and I not be an official vegetarian.

help others materially without giving it up, but sharing it.

love nature and don't wear everything made of natural materials.

fast for personal reasons, not religious ones.

meditate, and also light a candle in the church.

not watch television and be unformed, without feeling like I'm missing something.

want more, and also continue to be grateful for what I have.

Identifying with something automatically limits you. This is why we are divided by nationality, language, religion, skin color, social status and so on... It is very easy to manage people when they are divided and when they identify with something. We know which group they belong to and what they strive for, which gives us control.

It's okay to want, love nice things, smell nice, dress nice, shop nice, take the most beautiful and best of everything. Everything is fine until it becomes a substitute for our emotions and food for the soul because otherwise it becomes an addiction, and like any other it has a short effect.

Religions, associations, different labels of attachment, social ladders that determine belonging often lead spiritualized people to extremes, a state where they no longer want anything because they realize that it makes no sense. They don't like it. They strive for freedom from labeling because they begin to feel like slaves. Then we reach the limits of danger. One is for weaker people, to be manipulated where they often become part of societies, like sects. In this way, they are managed even more on an unconscious level. The second is that from that renunciation they become irritable and a bit angry, where they start looking for that something on the other side and then they are even more confused.

We are visual creatures and we notice the beautiful, we like nice smells, we like to touch what is pleasant to the touch. That's why essential oils are for the outside of the body, what healthy food is for the inside. Sexuality is encouraged by visual effects and vivid imagination, and it creates. That's how we seduce each other. We dress up nice for ourselves, we feel good, and then we emit energy that way. It's ok to want and have, to look nice and use nice things. Everything is ok, until it turns into possessiveness and dependence. Sharing is an important factor. If you can, and no longer want to, or share without thinking that you will miss it, you live in peace. And you always will. When you share with others, you realize that you can live, without it and that you're not depending on anything. You are grateful that you can, and choose what you want. Measure is the key. Try an experiment with your favorite thing and imagine that you gave it unconditionally to someone who needs it more, or wants it more at that moment. If the feeling is pleasant, you are healed.

We will always want more while we are in the material world, but it will never be able to replace the state of the spirit. It is important to create satisfaction there, and then the material does not have the ability to manage us, but only serves us to achieve greater freedom.
