There's no time for retroactive moments

Bo:)ana

Memories ... How much does that word carries within? It presents a suitcase full of emotions that are woven from subtle moments. It is nice feeling when we go back to childhood and that carefree play.

We all remain children for the rest of our lives, someone's children, and sometimes that feeling bothers us, but the truth is that we actually love it more. Someone has that child hidden in the depths of the tunnel where it plays in the dark, secretly, so that no one can hear it, while with some of us, it comes to the surface in the strangest situations, and the most difficult emotional schisms. Rare are those in which it is constantly present, and copes with everyday situations. Those people are special.

That kind of person was Misa, a very transparent child. A wonderful creature, with an innocent child's smile, spontaneous behavior, and even more spontaneous sense of humor. Dates and names were not his strong suit. He always loved challenges ,and adrenaline was his lifestyle. His energetic existence always tended towards new excitements. He was a skydiver.

While watching him, his sister got an indescribable desire to embark on the same endeavor.

One May morning, she wished to be a bird, and learn how to fly. That morning the sun was smiling and the sky was secretly winking, fear was left out. She put on a parachute suit, forgot her earmuffs, and left out her cap, but considering the size of her head, she thought it was a good decision. Anxiety soon decided to give up, and she got on the plane. The heart began to beat rapidly, and the breath was becoming shorter and shorter. It was a leap into freedom, a leap into the boundless beauty of living that creates a feeling of incredible safety, even though there was not exactly some basis for it at a given moment. A free fall of forty-five seconds has passed, the adrenalin lowered, and she becomes a bird. "How happy they're because they own wings," she thought at the moment. She wished to be a bird every day, because of the incredible feeling of lightness, freedom, and breathtaking view. During the landing, she ran out of air again, but this time due to immense happiness. She hugged her brother tightly, and was infinitely grateful for what she experienced. Despite the strong desire to capture that moment, and take a photo with her brother, it was not taken. Somehow there was a lack of time for that.

One March morning, Misa wished he was a bird but not an ordinary bird. He wanted to spread his wings and soar more than he could reach. The sun was frowning this time and the sky was asleep. In that strong desire for a new and different experience, he lost the privilege of the ordinary and simple, but he fulfilled his desire to be part of eternal flight.

There is no time for retroactive photo-shooting and re-experienced moments. Transience is a fact we often forget. Death does not hurt as much as it hurts regret for missed moments, unfinished sentences, unfulfilled desires, and unspoken words.

Do not let your ego, laziness, obligations, and imposed pace of life separate you from the true values, and deprive you of the moments that are actually the treasures of life.

He is still a bird in his flight, not earthly but heavenly.

She has only wished one wandering albatross, so she could spread her wings again.
