I love your smile, your imperfect nose. Your deep gaze that looks for beauty in the scenes of life and eyes that smile while looking at those who are not so joyful. I love them even, when it can't see well and are crying, they are beautiful again. I love your cheerful face very much, which tries to nurture that joy every day. Your quick walk that is something between walking and flying. It often feels like you're levitating. I love your laughter, your wrinkles caused by unnecessary frowns, your unfounded anger, your mistakes, your reaction in affect, the extra kilos caused by favorite food, your silence when the words come out but should not. I love your irresponsibility when you let her take the lead and that poor organization when you get tired. I also love when you can't see well so I tell you what is the truth. When you support others unconditionally and cheer them on the way to the aims, because you believe in them. In moments when you want to help everyone, when you inspire others, when you rejoice in other people's happiness.
I love your persistence, your struggle with inner turmoil, your success when you overcome the bad side of instinctual urges and embrace the good, but their is no less love even when you falter and join weaknesses because I know that these are moments of fatigue, and you are my fighter.
I give all this love to everyone every day, but I often forget to give it to you too. That's why it was translated into words, so that the emotions that support the thoughts that you are not worthy of love and that you do not deserve it, will be silenced.
Let this be my hug for you when you feel like you have no one to turn to.
To my inner child, from the adult ME.
I love you...
